KY-BPRM series balanced photoreceiver integrates two matched high linearity analog PIN detectors and low noise wideband transimpedance amplifiers. It features high gain, high sensitivity, DC-coupled output, high common mode rejection ratio, etc. It can effectively reduce the common mode noise of the input light and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the system. The module is powered by positive 12V, the input optical interface is optional fiber or space incident, and the electrical signal is output by the SMA port. It is mainly used in ns-level optical pulse detection, laser radar, optical coherence tomography(OCT) and optical fiber sensing systems.
Our company newly launched KY-BPRM series balanced photoreceiver, the working principle is shown below. It integrates two matched high linearity analog PIN detectors and low noise wideband transimpedance amplifier, After the two optical signals are input to the PIN detector, the reflected photocurrent is subtracted and sent to the back end low noise transimpedance amplifier for amplification. It can effectively reduce the common mode noise of the input light, extract useful weak signals from the interference noise, and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the system.
